Join me as I set out to overcome obesity. I've tried countless times with no success. This blog will make me be accountable. I am committed to being honest and will discuss the challenges of exercise or trying to just say no... to food of course! I begin my journey on 01/01/2010. Please visit often and share your thoughts and comments... enjoy the ride!
But you are still down 40lbs! That is a great! I haven't ever posted on here before so HI! Nice to meet you! :)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to tell you what an inspiration to me you are! I am 5'4" and started at 330lbs. I check your blog daily and find the picture of you so inspiring and motivational! I dream of being able to hike and walk with my son like you do yours.
I know you are going through a rough patch now but don't give up! You can do this! I realize that saying is almost trite now, that everyone says that but YOU have done it. You have proven to yourself and to others. Life has changed with the job and travels so you will have to make adjustments but you have done it before and WILL do it again! I know you will! If you need any extra support, let me know. Like I said I check this blog alot for updates and rereading your old posts to motivate myself.
Stop the slide! You've worked so hard, too hard, to give it back now. If nothing else, make baby carrots your go-to snack food. Stay properly hydrated. And bump yourself up a little higher on the priority list. I know you can do this, and I have enjoyed following your downward progress. I weighed 327 last December (2009), and this morning I was 262, down 65 lbs. We're doing this together, in a manner of speaking, and there is no leaving someone behind on the trail. Let's make that dream a reality - onward and downward through 2011!! Cheers, as a wise woman once said, to discovering health, mental well-being, overcoming obesity and an addiction to food! xx
ReplyDeleteOk, just remember that you are NOT alone in this. I have officially gained back 15 lbs since August. You and I STARTED this together. We ALL go though rough patches. How about we put our heads up and Re-start what we once began??? I KNOW we can do this, and become even stronger then the last time. What do you say?????
ReplyDeleteYou have taken the first step! You put it out there so you and everyone who follows you can see it! That is the hardest part. Now pick your self up and get back on! Like everyone else is saying you have done more then most people do in a life time! It is in you!!! JUST DO IT!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am with Ann. You can stop right now and reverse the landslide. You can't fix it all in one day so take baby steps to get there. We KNOW you can do this girl!
ReplyDeleteDon't dwell on that you've slipped up, it's part of the process. Celebrate that you continue to fight and refuse to give up. Come on girl, you can do this!
ReplyDeleteHi -- new poster here. You lost it before and you can again. Life throws us curve balls from time to time. So you hit a rough patch. It's ok. It happens. Just climb back on the bike and keep going. We are all prone to falling once in a while. Baby steps. You CAN do this.
ReplyDeleteYou CAN do it. Don't give up now, and take control back! Don't let food or feeling bad for yourself stop you! You're a beautiful young woman who CAN do this. It's just a bump in the road...
ReplyDeleteHello babygirl this is your mother. I am so proud of you, you have come a long way and I know those 22 pounds will not stick around long. You have many friends and family cheering you on and we all know you can do this. You are a strong and beautiful woman. So get back on that bike (dont forget your helmet)and peddle your way back to health. You CAN do this! I love you and I'm here for you. love Mom
ReplyDeleteThat's OK. Just put that behind you and move ahead. If you fret and worry about the gain you'll just stay upset and won't be able to get back on track. Start where you are now and do it. You can. I know you can.
