I have been consciously observing other overweight people in my age group when I'm out, and I see canes, walkers, wheelchairs, electric carts at the grocery. I see people who are walking in a lopsided manner, or swinging their bodies from side to side in an exaggerated fashion, out of breath and sweating. It takes effort to not cave in to the desire to use a mobility aid, or to give up walking upright and balanced. It does take relying on mental and emotional strength to reclaim physical strength, when it seems like it would be easier to just stay on the downhill slide.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
